Company Details

After serving as an active duty social work officer for four years, Empower Women Veterans began as an alternative to mental health care for women leaving the military.

Siobhan struggled to find meaningful and challenging work after separation and realized that women veterans have unique challenges in the civilian workforce.

EWV focuses on enhancing the transition experience for military women by offering a framework and platform to help Post 9/11 service women tools to bridge their wisdom and wellness to optimize the path to sustainable entrepreneurship.

Empower Women Veterans (EWV) Launches New Initiative

March 2023, Empower Women Veterans (EWV) is thrilled to announce the launch of its newest initiative, EWV Media. The multi-media platform is a one-stop hub for news, marketing, and mental health resources for military-affiliated business owners. It also serves as a space for women veterans to share their experiences and connect.

Beyond Business Basics

The launch of EWV Media is a natural extension of this mission. The media platform will integrate AI chatbot technology and trauma-informed peer support to improve women veterans business owners’ mental and physical well-being.

“I am thrilled to launch EWV Media and provide a platform for military business owners to find the resources they need to succeed,” said Cunningham.

“As a veteran and entrepreneur, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to start and grow a business while readjusting to life as a civilian. I hope EWV Media will improve women veterans’ utilization of the medical and mental health resources offered by the Veterans Health Administration.”
